ADELAIDE ZOO – NATURE’S PLAYGROUND

Constructed by LCS and designed by WAX Design, Nature’s Playground at Adelaide Zoo connects children, parents, and caregivers to nature through engaging play. It embodies Adelaide Zoo’s values of social inclusion, education, and fostering a deep appreciation of the natural world.

In collaboration with Fleetwood Urban, the unique elevated walkway and timber pods provide accessible, innovative, and challenging experiences with stunning views of the Zoo and Parklands.

Dynamic climbing, jumping, and extensive rope play are complemented by investigative and sensory activities, including a rock-lined creek with water play spouts, a giant sand pit, musical chimes, and cubby building areas.
